About Margie . . .

Margie is a resident glass artist at Margie’s Art Glass Studio, Minot, North Dakota. The Studio is a full service, eclectic glass shop. A favorite of our customers are the hand made one-of-a kind items produced on site by Margie or one of the talented employees, it has been operating since April 2003. A glass lover in all its forms, Margie specializes in kiln formed glass. She continues to make stained glass windows and custom work for architectural applications.

Her studio serves as a resource center for glass enthusiasts throughout the region. Margie loves to decorate, create, and use her talents with a twist for the different.

My family has been involved in glass and glass blowing since the 1500’s in Lauscha, Germany. The Muller-Litz family has been at the forefront of glassblowing and the Lauscha Glass Traditions.

On a personal note, I am married; to my husband Ted of 32 years. We have three children; Sarah, Beka and Eddie. I was raised on Long Island, NY, with many wonderful memories of the ocean, sun and sand. Ted and I have lived in North Dakota for 31 great years where we have raised our children and have kept our home. After 19 years of being a stay home mom I rejoined the work force in the form of a small business owner.
